The Quad Dorms were built in 1926 and eventually enlarged seventy years later in 1996. Each dorm has a bird on its crest, representing a different trait. Brewster holds a rooster which represents alertness. Ford has an eagle, which represents courage. Manville’s owl represents knowledge. Lastly, Simpson’s crest has a pelican which, along with being the school’s mascot, represents loyalty.
